TRUMP'S THREATS ARE TERRIFYING NOT ONLY AGAINST IMMIGRANTS BUT WILL ALSO AFFECT AND DEVASTATE THE COUNTRY.

The elections are approaching. November 5th will be a key day for the United States especially for immigrants and Latinos with the possible election of Donald Trump, we cannot close our eyes and ears to the terrible promises of Trump whose campaign almost entirely has been directed against immigrants. It is alarming to know that in many key states like Michigan he is ahead or the same as  Harris and that the way he is winning the campaign is attacking immigrants with lies. It is also amazing that a large percentage of Latinos perhaps over 40% especially men and young people are supporting him. Although the majority of Latinos are against him, the percentage he has gained since the election 4 years ago can make the difference in his election.

Above all we must pay attention to his words and his promises, Trump wants to make a MASS DEPORTATION, according to him of millions and millions of immigrants not only of those who are undocumented right now but he also wants  eliminate programs like TPS and DACA to deport them.

Recently the American Immigration Council (AIC) which is part of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) did a 56 page study showing that this mass deportation measure will not only have an effect on immigrants and their families, but also on the economy as a whole, but also on the economy of the entire country and we must inform the non-immigrant community of the adverse effect that his macabre plan would have on the economy of the United States, the council's report also talks about the enormous economic expense that the country will incur if Trump wins and starts with this project.

In theory they are talking about a total of 13 million immigrants,11 million people who were supposedly undocumented as of 2022 and add two million more who have entered in recent years.

Deporting this number of immigrants according to the study would cost more than $315 billion. This figure is conservative, and it does not include the long term costs of conducting a mass deportation operation. Where will the money come from?

Nor does it include the cost of detention in deportation centers and concentration camps, not yet built, due process compliance and additional expenses incurred by states, counties and cities involved in the process, meaning that we are talking about exorbitant amounts of money.

Even less is said about how it will affect the economy as far as the issue of who will perform the jobs in the fields, construction, cleaning, restaurants, factories, dairies, hotels, etc., where a large percentage of the workers are undocumented, the ones Trump wants to deport.

The study points out that with the amount of money that would be spent the country could for example build more than 40,450 new schools, build almost 3 million new homes and buy a new car for more than 20 million people so it represents a huge cost.  The problem is that many voters are not aware of this, they only listen to the lies of how immigrants have “invaded” the United States, people who according to Trump are criminals, when studies show that immigrants including undocumented immigrants who committed a crime represent a much lower percentage than U.S. citizens.

GET READY FOR THE ELECTION

I know that even though some of the readers are not U.S. citizens they have family, friends, neighbors and acquaintances who are, ask them to go vote, we must stop Trump not only for the immigrants, but also for the economy of the whole country.

We must mobilize while there is still time, they must understand the consequences of this plan based on the famous “program 2025” that Trump and his Republican friends have written up in hundreds of pages. If Trump wins it can become one of the most frightening situations  that the country has ever faced and it is up to us to stop it.

We cannot afford to stay home and not vote when we are faced with such great evil with such dire consequences. Kamala Harris is not perfect but we must protect ourselves from the obvious evil of Trump.
